GNS3:[WinError 64] The specified network name no longer available

Win64 error_the specified network name no longer available

Strangely this error started to show up on my laptop running GNS3 1.3.11. It turns out the Bitdefender anti-virus that’s blocking the connection to dynamips service. I did two things in Bitdefender anti-virus menu:

  1. Added the gns3 folder to the excluded files and folders list.
  2. Added dynamips.exe to the excluded processes list.

And that solved the problem.
